English Channel Crossing for Cancer Care Namibia

Personal message

I will be embarking on a fund raising project by swimming the English Channel on 27 - 28 September 2016. If successful, I will be the first Namibian Male to complete the swim and the First Tabler from the Association of Round Tables of Southern Africa and, to our knowledge, he will be the first Tabler in Round Table International (RTI).

Funds raised will go towards the Cancer Care Namibia Fund, started in honour of my late brother, Neil Salt, who succumbed to cancer in 2011 and was also a member of Hochland 154.

The CCNF was created to assist families in supporting their direct family member, suffering from cancer, during their treatment.

The CCNF's goal is to make sure we assist where we can, as soon as possible, to make the life of a cancer patient a little better by having one of his family members nearby to provide some emotional support during this horrible ordeal in their life.

*We are so grateful to all who have donated so far. A special thank you to Standard Bank Namibia,  Pointbreak, and Eros Manor & Paramount Health Care for their significant offline donations!
